For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we'd need a pick up and drop off location. We'd need the date and duration of hire. If the number of passengers was known that would also be a great help for us to prepare an accurate quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ensure that companies in this field are fully licenced by VOSA. I personally would stay clear of broker companies as they don't appear to care about customer needs and tend to charge through the nose for their services. With a local company you will get more of a personal touch with more realistic costings.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Diamond Limousines was started by my wife and I after the realisation that there was nothing like this within our region. Unfortunately, I can't take the credit for the idea as this was down to my wife. We started with one party bus to see if it would take off and have now increased to two with the intention of expanding again.
