What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we would need, the date and location of the event.
We would need the arrival time so we can get to the venue with plenty of time to set up.
And finally, we would need to know what message they would like on their photos and if they would like them uploaded to Facebook, plus an email address to send them all the digital copies from the event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

After being in this business for over years I think the first thing is NOT to go for the cheapest deal you can find, always check reviews and even contact previous clients of the company you are interested in.
Make sure they have PAT and PLI insurance and can provide to your venue.
If you are local to your supplier ask if it would be possible to attend an event ie wedding show or a workshop visit.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

PhotoPoint was first formed as an industrial Photo Booth company, with over 30 sites in the South and the Channel Islands we have kiosks in Post Offices, shopping centres, leisure centres, airports, Universities etc.
In 2010 we started our very successful photo booth hire service, supplying booths to weddings, parties, corporate events, our clients include JP Morgan, Next, Waitrose, Barclays, Travis Perkins, NHS, to name a few.
We will provide you with our experience gained over the last 20 years or so, and have built a very special working relationship with our customers and have carried this through to the event market, making your event one to remember.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had some good results with Add to Event and as a way of finding bookings, it seems very successful.
I remember one booking we had was at the Italian Villa, Compton Acres, Poole, was a great night, the bride and groom could not be happier with the service from Add to Event and PhotoPoint, as they said it was seamless with no stress.
