What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we need to know the event date, what type of event it is, is there power and water available, how many guests and where the venue is. From this and our experience, we can plan the cost for the event and make it as cost effective as possible.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

With booking wood-fired pizza, the oven is the most important aspect, as cheaper ovens can't handle the workload. Our oven was in excess of £5,000, so a £1,000 oven which a lot of competitors use, won't be able to compare to the speed and temperature our oven can handle. Our oven can cook up to 3 pizzas at one and cook a pizza every 60 - 90 seconds depending on the toppings. Check how many members of staff you are getting for your quote, as two people will struggle to do a wedding with over 100 guests in time, where we have up to four staff members making pizzas at once as our van was built for this.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started the business as we love pizza and events, we love the unknown of where we are going to be week to week. We have attended every type of event across the UK and love meeting new people all the time.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We did a private party through Add to Event with 300 guests, that is a lot of pizza to make. We fed all 300 guests and had an amazing time. At the end of the event, we all sat down with the event organiser and had a well-derseved ice cold beer. We had around 40 people ask for our contact details for future events and have already spoken to a lot of them to book us.
