What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to give you the best quote possible, we need to know some details. Please tell us the date of your event and the number of guests. The kind of venue you are hosting in and what facilities are available are also helpful, and it would also be good to know what sort of atmosphere you want to achieve (such as formal or more relaxed) as this will help with the different menus we can offer you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you ask about dietary requirements and whether they can be catered for. We make all the food ourselves which allows us to cater easily for dietary requirements as nothing is bought in! I would definitely check this with each caterer.

Also, try and get a feel from the person you are speaking to at the company. At the end of the day you want to get along with the person you are working with and make your event a hit!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Rachel and I are both fully trained chefs with a big passion for food. Family is the center of our hearts and rather than working in the big busy restaurant kitchens, running a small bespoke catering business fits in well with our lifestyle. This allows us to enjoy our love of food, service and meeting new people. We love meeting our customers and hearing what they imagine their event to be and working with them to create the ideal menu.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is a great platform to introduce caterers to new customers. It allows customers to set out what they want and then we are able to go back with what we can offer. For example we catered a dinner party for 18 people with various requirements in a very small kitchen which to us was no problem. We have done corporate canapes for a marketing event in Bristol as well and they easily found us on Add to Event enabling us to very simply organise their customer reception.
