The Liquid Inn provides a mobile bar service for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, fetes across the South West. Offering bespoke service and tailoring the bar to suit your event, it is run by a husband and wife team.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Date, location and type of event are important to know. Once we have that information we can confirm whether we are able to provide our services. Following on we will ask about the number of guests and the sort of mobile bar services or drinks packages the client is looking for. Through our conversations with the organiser, we can tailor our bar to match your event and provide additional items. Once we understand what a client is trying to achieve, we work closely with them to ensure their event is a success, whether it be a wedding, party, festival or corporate event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Does the provider really seem interested in you and your event and understand what you're looking for? Ask whether the provider has experience of similar events; if you're not completely sure what you're looking for, a good provider will be able to give you ideas and suggestions to make your event a success. You may not meet the provider until your event, so good communication is important and shows that the provider has a genuine interest in delivering a successful service to you. Ask about their terms and conditions. The more information they are giving, and asking for, at the start, the more likely it is that you're going to have a great event!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We came up with the idea to start the Liquid Inn after our own wedding. We had found it incredibly hard to find a good mobile bar that was able to help us develop our ideas and provide what we were looking for. We already had experience as pub landlords and in catering, so it seemed a natural progression to start our own mobile bar business. With our own wedding experience to draw on, we furthered our research, talking to as many people as possible about their own experiences as well as attending commercial events that used mobile bar facilities. The one thing we were determined to do was put great customer service and flexibility top of our list. We love helping people turn their ideas into successful, memorable events!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've got some great bookings to look forward to, from private parties and weddings to charity events.
