Based in Market Harborough in Leicestershire, Hello Prosecco is a mobile prosecco bar hirer who specialises in serving prosecco from the bottle, sparkling wine from tap, prosecco based cocktails and also Italian larger on tap.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to give you an accurate quote we would love to know: how many people you have attending & how many drinks you would like them to have. We do have an over allowance just in case some people have an extra drink or 2!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your venue knows what you want from the prosecco van. Most are there to supply a reception drink rather than a full bar. Be wary if somebody is just looking to make money. We make sure we have all your needs catered for before we ask for a deposit. Find out how long you are booking people for. We are there from the start until the last drink is poured, whereas some companies have a time limit and will be looking to leave rather than let you and your guests enjoy the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started Hello Prosecco as a lifestyle business to work around our family. We have 2 children, and it's so much better not having a 9-5. Mrs Prosecco obviously has a love for the fizzy stuff so it became a no brainer. We also love hosting and entertaining our friends, and we find that our job is pretty much the same.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We love Add to Event. We get to see the quote requests come through and then contact the customers that we think would benefit best from us. We did a great event in Cambridge, where the university wanted a bar to serve drinks down by the river before guests went punting. We had chilled drinks pre-poured so that the guests could just pick one up and then go and mingle before punting. We managed to get nearly 300 drinks out in just over 2 hours. We have also used Add to Event for our own parties, so would totally recommend it from a user and vendor point of view.
