What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote I need to know the type of event, date, venue and timing as a minimum. The more information, the more accurate the quote!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise anyone booking a singer for an event to choose a professional - someone who does the job full time - which means they are serious and undoubtedly successful. Look at all the available material online such as video and recordings. Consider that whilst the quality of the singer is vital, so is the performer's ability to interact with an audience. You may only book a live performer once or twice in your lifetime so it's worth doing the homework.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

All my life I wanted to be a singer and since being a teenager I have been a lover of Frank Sinatra & the Rat Pack. This love led me onto other artists such as Bobby Darrin, Nat King Cole and the like. I have been lucky enough to forge a full-time career in the last decade performing the songs I love. My previous experience has complimented what I do, allowing me to feel comfortable in the spotlight, understand fully the client's needs and have fun with an audience.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I'm very impressed with Add to Event - the site is thought through and user friendly, I have given several quotes out in the last couple of weeks and I'm sure that I will get bookings as a result. Highly recommended!
