What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote we need to know the date of the event, the number of attendees, the location, the type of event (e.g. corporate event or wedding) and if the location is inside or outside. If we bring our converted horse trailer, we need to know if there’s access for it - it’s 5.4m long and 4m wide. If you know your per person budget that always helps us give the most accurate quote possible.
When we have all of this information we can provide a quick and precise quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Looking for food for an event should be exciting! Look at different menus and see what inspires you. Go in with an open mindset, you may want pizza but you could be inspired by something you’ve never thought of - if it’s still pizza after your research that’s great! Go and try some food - surely the best part of booking a caterer. Find out where your favourite options are and visit them, they may be doing street food events, have premises or event do tasting events for you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started the business to bring high-quality street food to the local area. We love eating food, reading and talking about it and of course, making it. We use top quality local producers and make indulgent food that gets people to say OMG! We love watching people walk away with a smile and always want to see people enjoy food as part of their special occasion.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
As soon as we signed up to Add to Event we were impressed with the quality of information from prospective clients. We secured a booking for a wedding with a tasting event which is always a great way to meet clients and talk food! Shortly after we secured another event at quite short notice for an 18th birthday the following week. We’ve always had happy customers because we pay attention to small details and offer friendly and professional service. It helps that our food is delicious and a bit naughty too! We always ask for feedback from clients to continue to deliver great food and service. The Add to Event platform is great for this.
