What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a quotation, ideally, we require the following details from your special occasion: The date, location and number of guests attending the event. Then we can suggest which of our packages we think would be most suitable. If you require any special requests also please include these and we can add these. If you are unsure of any of these just provide an estimate and we will try our best to send you our best possible quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Provide as much detail as possible and try to be accurate with the request. Ask for any special requests. Ask what they can provide and the little touches that make them stand out from the rest. Ask about any extras they could also provide to supplement. Ask for pictures of their work and reviews from previous customers.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We bought the candy cart for my wife's 40th birthday, we enjoyed decorating it and it went down a hit at the party with all the guests. We received so many compliments for our cart and people told us we should go into business as they were very impressed. We expanded to buy the postbox and the 4ft LOVE letters to supplement the hire of the cart and to provide a full party package.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are new to the site but already have had great success. It is a great platform, which is very easy to use. We have a booking for a surprise 60th that a son has booked for his mothers birthday. We were asked to provide sweets that represent the years of childhood and bring back memories for the event. This was exciting and working together with the client we provided a list of sweets that fulfilled this request and hopefully went someone to make the party that extra bit special.
This event occurred in Bolton and over 100 people attended, the feedback was good and Add to Event did its bit in bringing us together with the client to fulfil each other's needs. I would recommend Add to Event to anyone, supplier or someone who is looking for a service.
