They have been serving up artisan ice-creams since 2016 using only the highest quality free-range ingredients with no artificial colours flavours or additives. We know that some party planners, brides, grooms birthday boys and girls will have an exact vision of what they want along with guests' numbers timings and desires however some people are planning an event that is taking shape as they create it we can work with either type of event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking to hire an ice cream bike, trike, van or cart it's important to know what it is you are after. The more specific you can be about your desires the easier it is for vendors to know if they are a good fit for you and your event. Everyone who runs a business wants to provide the best service and food they can at a cost that is fair for everyone. However not every vendor is a good fit for every customer, the better idea you have of what you want the easier it is for suppliers to make contact with the right people.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Exclusive Scoop was born from a love of good food, after a life long obsession with food and deserts in particular it seemed only natural that I would strike out toward the shores of desert delectation and divinity. I've always wanted to do good and change the world for the better, ice cream seems the perfect way to do it. My goal is to make the business as ethical (and delicious) as possible. Sustainability is paramount at Exclusive Scoop if it doesn't work for the environment it doesn't work for me, which is why as well as real dairy ice cream we have an ever growing vegan selection and I challenge anyone to taste the difference!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My first booking through 'Add to Event' is probably my most memorable it was not long after the first lockdown and a company wanted to hire me to thank their staff for the hard work they had put in over such a difficult period. I could tell it really meant a lot to the staff and it felt quite emotional knowing we were finally coming out of lockdown (we thought for good) and it seemed on that day Covid was going to be just a nasty memory a few months to forget and nothing more. For the staff it seemed like quite a moment as they'd really pulled together and worked so hard to keep the business going, for me, it was very much the same, this being my first booking post lockdown and the light at the end of the tunnel and the knowledge I would be working again and back in business myself. For an independent business, the seas are always choppy and life is seldom easy, but that sunny day it really was just a perfect afternoon.
