What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need the event date, the time and duration of the event and the location.
We also require the number of covers and the budget per head. It would be beneficial for us if the client could inform us about the type of the event, could the van have access, is there power and water available on site and the type and speed of service the client requires.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would advise the customer to check out the social media links of the supplier and get a better understanding of who exactly are they hiring. We'd also advise them to enquire about a tasting before the event. We'd advise the customers to work with the supplier on the menu so that all the needs and requirements are satisfied.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

During my travels in 2016, the idea of a vegetarian/vegan business developed in my head. I was exposed to a whole new array of cuisines and decided to bring back home the different techniques and flavours. That way I could create more exciting vegetarian and vegan food options than what was currently available.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We traded at a festival in Portsmouth. It was absolutely beautiful. Really well organized. Loads of great bands. The organizers were lovely. We served over 200 people in a short period of time and nailed it. This event brings so many great memories.
