What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide a comprehensive quote to a potential client I need to know the date they have in mind and also the venue and what type of package they are looking for. Personally, I would prefer to have a chat over the phone that way a lot gets discussed very quickly and we are both able to get a feel for each other it's a good way of "getting to know each other".

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Over the past 23 years, I have worked with a lot of providers in the Wedding Industry and worked with some of them very closely. If I was asked about a cake maker or outside food caterer I could recommend a few and give them a recommendation but the main thing I would emphasise is that you need to meet them and taste their products.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started my business quite by accident. I filmed a work colleagues wedding, we were both over the moon with the end results and from that moment on I have never looked back. I especially love videoing weddings but am equally happy to video any special occasion. I have a passion for what I do and have an eye for detail. I listen carefully to your requirements and take on board what you say and offer any suggestions that come to mind and feel it an honour to share in all the emotions and be a part of what is a very special day.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I had a lovely booking through Add to Event for a Pre-School and would more than happy to recommend them.
It was a Nativity play and was absolutely brilliant the children were all stars in their own right and to think they had never performed on stage before it was fantastic. They played to the camera and each one individually shone.
I live in an area where there are more sheep than people but hopefully in the future by working together with Add to Event both our numbers will increase in the future.
