What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Please could you provide your date, collection, ceremony and reception postcodes or areas to allow us to work out a quote? If you are not sure a rough idea is fine for now. Would you like a VW Camper van (seats 6-7 plus chauffeur) or a VW Beetle cabriolet (seats 3 plus chauffeur)? Or both for a special price.
Our VW Classic vehicles include 3 stunning Karman Beetle 'triple white', Cabriolets, a beautiful 1962 Split Screen Camper in white/cream plus a super cool ride for the groom a Beach buggy.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check references and reviews of their service online.
Our VWs are constantly maintained and are well looked after by our Dan, another chauffeur we have on board. We also have two back up Beetles and various other friends with wedding insurance for back up should anything happen before or on the day. All our chauffeurs are reliable and experienced.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
On my 17th Birthday, I was focused on passing my test as soon as I could, I loved the thought of the freedom of driving anywhere I could & spent many hours with my friend practising and having lessons. MY love for motoring and cars carried on when I joined the launch of BBC Top Gear Magazine in 93 where I had my first proper job in London. I worked here for 13 years until we started a family & had two lovely children. I kept thinking of ideas to work from home or part-time & did some chauffeuring for a local limo company. The idea of the VWs came up as my husband is a classic car enthusiast & loves the old VWs. Having a think I asked him if we could use the split-screen he was restoring for weddings but the answer was no... however a week later I had a Beetle cabriolet. This is when it all began in summer of 2007, a 2-year-old, a 6-month-old baby & a new business of which I still love.
