What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a quote to clients, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, and the estimated number of guests. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a detailed quote for the clients to meet their budget.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

A lot of the events we do are weddings and we hear time & time again from clients about the obstacles they face when using some catering companies on how their special day. Whether it be the stress of timings, menu design and other option. Do not be dictated to by the caterer on how your day will be, this is one thing that sets us apart from other companies as we ensure your day is exactly as YOU want it.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The business started out catering for clients who wanted a small dinner party in their home where we would design a menu around their likes and dislikes. One of our clients asked us if we could cater for their wedding as they had been to several catering companies for tastings but were disappointed with the standard with no excitement or creativity. We catered for their wedding and the feedback we got from them and their guests was fantastic. The company has grown on recommendations and feedback.

Add to Event for us has been a game changer. It had enabled us to reach a much wider audience, which has enabled us to gain some fantastic events and brought us more business than we thought possible.
Add to Event is the only promotional platform that we use as from past experiences we have advertised in glossy magazines, google search words etc.but with Add to Event the clients are looking for a service and not just flicking through a glossy magazine that they are reading at a doctors surgery.
