What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The typical questions your Celebrant will ask is the date, time and location of your wedding, is it an indoor or outdoor event, and the number of guests. This will give your celebrant an idea of any equipment that will be required, such as a PA system.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Just like all couples are unique in their own special way, Celebrants are too! You may speak with many Celebrants before you find the one you connect with. You need to feel comfortable that your Celebrant 'gets you' and they will ask many questions to get to know you and your aspirations for your dream wedding.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I was inspired to become a Celebrant after arranging a Naming Ceremony for a family member coming home from New Zealand with their new baby. It was such a joyous occasion, I was inspired! Following this I was asked to play a part in weddings of family and friends who had chosen a Celebrant led Ceremonies, this further inspired me to follow my dream to become a Celebrant.
I went on to achieve my accreditation in Couples and Naming Ceremonies in 2020, and I feel privileged to work with the most amazing families and couples to turn their vision of their incredibly special day into reality!
