Stuart Primarolo offers an independent celebrant helping to provide you with the wedding ceremony of your dreams. Their role is to take the special elements you would like and create a bespoke ceremony for you and, together can ensure the wedding of your dreams and a memory of the day that you, and your guests, will never forget.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a quote we ideally require the following:
1 Type of ceremony for example wedding, vow renewal etc. 2. Event Date 3. Event Time 4. Event Location.
This is a great start for us, one of my team can check my availability and get back to you with the right quotation for the relevant ceremony.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, don't judge a book by its cover!
When selecting a celebrant, ensure you speak to them before making a decision.
Whilst the price is important, it shouldn't be the deciding factor. It is good to note that we are different and offer different skill sets. The chemistry between the happy couple and the celebrant needs to be just right for you to get the wedding of your dreams.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Hi, I’m Stuart, a Modern Celebrant with traditional values serving the East Midlands and beyond.
I started my Celebrant journey in 2020 after more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. I felt a strong sense of calling after officiating a relatives ceremony. The thought that you could have whatever you wanted in a wedding ceremony really inspired me to get qualified, begin my journey and share this with all of my couples.
I pride myself on my compassion, empathy and my sense of humour, traits fundamental to performing the role well. I love getting to know my couples and writing a bespoke service for their special day including their personal love story.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event has been such a wonderful platform to advertise my services. In the time that I have been a member I have received countless enquiries leading to bookings. It's really hard to pick just one as they have all been so amazing in their own special way.
However, one that comes to mind is a wedding performed in the back garden of the brides family ( it was actually more like a woodland paradise). It was a beautiful day, sun was shining, birds were singing, all the suppliers where working in harmony to provide a fabulous occasion. And then it came to the ceremony.
Everyone was seated and, as the bride came down the aisle, their cat decided to join the fun and sat on the brides train, refusing to move.
Eventually, we were able to begin the service on the edge of a lake with the woodland surrounding us, it came to the vows and, as the groom was preparing himself, a muntjac bounded from the woods, into the lake and back onto land right between the happy couple and their guests, as if it were trying to take my job! With all of the guest in fits of laughter, we took a moment to appreciate the nature around us and the good humour, as I kept calm and carried on.
I have and I will continue to recommend Add to Event to other wedding suppliers and potential clients.
