What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote we need the basics such as date, location and the type of event they are hosting. We also need an idea of the sort of products they are after. For instance, if they are after decor, either a list of decor they are interested in or a theme/style they are hoping to achieve.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

At this time my advice would be to book early, we are normally the sort of supplier that people look to book later on in their planning stages but with everything that has gone on I would highly recommend thinking about decor earlier. I would also suggest having a collection of images that you like as this really helps us to really to suggest the right items. In terms of the mobile bars I would advise you look for someone who seems friendly and approachable, after all they will be serving your guests!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have always been interested in events and planned parties and events from a young age. After working in the industry in London I realised that I wanted to do something for myself as it was the creative side of things that I enjoyed the most. Organising weddings has been a dream of mine for a long time as I just love to help to create the day of their dreams and be in such a happy environment, all for work!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I would 100% recommend Add to Event as you reach potential customers that you would most definitely not otherwise reach. We recently launched the mobile bar aspect to our business and one of our first weddings was booked through Add to Event. It was a really great night and solidified our amazing team. We received an amazing review, which at such a tough time was really welcome as we were starting to feel really down about the pandemic and how it was affecting our business.
