Our Story
Founded in 2012 with the rescue of our first meerkat, Steve, Living Things has been dedicated to providing unforgettable wildlife experiences. What started as a single encounter with school children quickly turned into a passion for fostering respect and appreciation for all Living Things.
Today, our team proudly wears our logo, featuring Steve’s silhouette, as a symbol of our commitment to animal welfare. Our journey has led us to rescue numerous animals and provided a loving homes for countless unwanted pets. Our thriving menagerie of exotic animals at The Burrows, our very own premises and headquarters, showcases our dedication to their well-being.

Behind the scenes are trained and experienced presenters, licensed animal handlers, and welfare focused specialists who work tirelessly to ensure the highest standards of animal care, safety, and education at every event.

Wonderful, engaging party!
Amye did a wonderful job engaging a large group of 7-10 year olds. The kids enjoyed it so much and learned a lot at the same time. Would highly recommend Living Things!

Booked Living Things to come to my daughter's six year birthday party. We had a group of similar aged girls, everyone were super excited to see the exotic animals ranging from tarantula to sugar gliders. Animal Amye did a fantastic job of grabbing the children's attention, and making the session both fun and educational. We received lots of praises from parents on the day as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book an animal themed birthday party!

Brilliant show and unique memories
My boy wanted a jungle themed party with an entertainer, and we chanced in this via "Addtoevent". The presenter turned up right on time with ten animals, set up and gave an excellent performance, holding the attention of 30+ seven year olds for a full hour, no easy task. Communication while making the booking was clear, and they were flexible and accommodating. A really enjoyable experience all round, with Stanley the meercat running across the children being a particular highlight.

Brilliant 3 year olds party!
We absolutely adored having Living Things round to our home for our 3 year olds birthday party - they were so accommodating and swapped out the tarantula and cockroach for a chinchilla and ferret! The children were gobsmacked and loved learning about all the facts - Amye was brilliant! Thank you so so much. Highly highly recommend - such a special memory!
