About Multiplex Decks
I strive to offer a personalised service. I like to meet up, talk by video chat, or have a phone call with you before the event to discuss your requirements. I'm extremely versatile: If you want to pre-plan the entire set, I'm more than happy to work with you. Let me know your favourite songs and if there are tunes or genres you want to avoid.
Alternatively, feel free to give me an idea of the kind of mood you'd like to create and trust me to work my magic. I have an extensive music selection and great technical ability so you can expect smooth transition between songs as I work with the crowd. Whichever way you want to work I will bring that to your party.
I can also work with you on your lighting needs – the right setup along with a quality sound system is crucial to create the right atmosphere. It's all about attention to detail.
I've been passionately into music for as long as can remember. I had my first decks aged 14 and by 16 was playing at friends' parties. I was hired for my first DJ job at Bar Coast in Manchester by 18 and I spent my early twenties playing at clubs, bars, and parties all over Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire.
In my later twenties, I was the DJ in a band performing in venues all across the UK and we carried out a 16-date tour across the west coast of the US.
My thirties were spent playing across the UK and also at European ski resorts warming up for big-name DJs and also with my DJ and drummer act, VTB. We have a strong fan base who have followed us over the years, travelling to wherever we perform. In these energetic, funky sets I'm told I do some wicked scratching.

Wedding DJ
We gave Neil an awkward brief with me and my partner both having wildly different music tastes but we were put at ease straight away. From our first video meeting communication was A1, we were so happy with how our wishes for the day were received. The event itself was perfect, the choice of songs were bang on and everybody's taste was catered for. Neil helped my fiancée arrange a surprise saxophonist (Dave, who was amazing) the communication and execution of such an amazing surprise was seem-less. If you want a DJ who knows his music and how to read his crowd you must go with Multiplex and trust him to do what he does so well. Huge part of making our day so memorable. Dance floor was full from start to finish

Great DJ, Great Tunes, Dancefloor Filler
Neil is a brilliant DJ. He listened to what myself and my Wife wanted for the wedding and without us sending a playlist knew exactly what to play. The guests loved it and there wasn't a moment where there wasn't someone on the dancefloor. All the guests said how much they enjoyed it and have asked for his details if they ever need a DJ in the future. You can't get better than that. Neil set up in conjunction with a live band and everything ran extremely smoothly.

Simon played a great set for our wedding with a mix of all genres, keeping with our timeline annd playing our first dance was perfect timing, he even took requests off guests.

Amazing music by Neil!
We booked Neil for our wedding evening. From the start, his communication was great, prompt replies and replied to all of our queries and was so helpful to have a conversation on the phone prior to booking. He was on time, he came with all of his equipment and seamlessly set everything up. During the evening, his music was exactly what we were looking for and he also gauged the vibe of our guests and evening and played some amazing music.
