About DJ Jon Lowe

I’m Jon Lowe, a full-time professional DJ and event host with two decades of experience performing at weddings, corporate functions, private parties and large venues across the UK. My background includes working with well-known national brands such as Butlin’s Big Weekends, Girls That Mix and Maximum Music Events, along with a busy calendar of 60–70 weddings every year. I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, adaptable and easy to work with, which is exactly what couples and event organisers want when they’re trusting someone with the biggest part of their night.

My approach is simple: you get a polished, modern DJ setup, a clean sound system, smooth hosting, and music that actually fits your crowd. Nothing pre-planned, nothing copy-and-paste — I read the room, take your preferences on board, and shape the atmosphere to keep the dancefloor moving. Whether it’s a high-energy party, a classy wedding, or a corporate event that needs structure and professionalism, I make sure everything runs the way it should.

Communication is always straightforward. You’ll know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and I’ll guide you through anything you need — timings, announcements, special moments or music ideas. My job is to take the stress off you so you can enjoy your event while I handle the flow of the night.

I cover the North West and the whole of the UK and I’m available for weddings, corporate events, bars, clubs and private functions.

Our Story

I started DJing nearly twenty years ago, long before I ever imagined doing it full-time. What began as a simple love for playing great music in bars and clubs turned into a career built on hard work, reputation and showing up for every job with the right attitude. Over the years I worked my way through bars, residencies and big nights, eventually landing long-running residencies at Tiger Tiger Manchester and performing at major events like Butlin’s Big Weekends. That variety shaped me into a DJ who can walk into any room, understand the crowd quickly and deliver the right energy from start to finish.

What inspires me now is the reaction I get at the events I play — the moment a dancefloor clicks into place, or when a couple sees their wedding come alive exactly how they imagined. I enjoy the responsibility of running the night, keeping the flow right, and making sure the people who hired me can relax because they know everything’s under control.

Going fully solo gave me the chance to take ownership of my work, build strong relationships with couples and corporate clients, and commit to a standard that keeps people coming back. I’m proud of the reputation I’ve earned, and I still enjoy every event because no two are the same. That’s what keeps it fresh — one night you’re hosting a wedding, another you’re powering a corporate event, and the next you’re in a packed holiday park with thousands. It never gets dull, and that’s why I’m still here doing it.

Our Team

My business is run by me. I handle everything personally, from the first message to the final track of the night, so you always know exactly who you’re dealing with.

For larger events, I work with a trusted network of musicians, performers and agencies such as Girls That Mix and Maximum Music Events, but the core of the service is always me turning up, setting up and delivering the night to the standard people book me for. No outsourcing, no surprises — just a reliable, experienced DJ running your event properly.

Great DJ who is happy to go above and beyond

Jon went above and beyond to make our wedding evening celebrations extra special. A fantastic DJ who took the time to get to know us and to understand the vibe we wanted. The dance floor was full all night and both us and all our guests had a blast. Thank you Jon it was perfect

Brilliant night!

We chose Jon to be our DJ for our wedding reception, his communication was great from start to finish. He played the songs I had requested and he got everyone involved in our first dance which was lovely. The dance floor was busy and everyone had a great night, would 100% recommend Jon to anyone! Wonderful DJ

Jon was the DJ for our wedding, I can’t thank him enough he was amazing. A few days before the big day he went through the type of music we wanted playing and on the night got all Our guests round for the first dance and encouraged everyone to then join in. It was wonderful to see people on the dance floor throughout the evening. Jon kept checking in with us throughout the night to check we were happy with everything. Top bloke would strongly recommend to anyone

Perfection definitely Highly recommend

From the onset of booking Jon Lowe to the fantastic night, Jon was brilliant. He provide certificates straight away which our venue needed. He made the evening run flawless. Jon contacted us before the wedding to ask us what kind of music we would like and went through a run through of what we could expect on the evening. Our evening was perfect everybody got up dancing and had a fantastic time. The cutting of the cake and the first dance were beautiful. We made so many memories that will last a life time. I highly recommend Jon Lowe if you have a function coming up, I will definitely be using him again. Many thanks add to event for finding Jon for me, he made our day.
