A Father and Son Journey Bringing a Touch of India to Devon

Pukka Tents began with a father-and-son trip to northern India, where we were inspired by the vibrant beauty of traditional Indian tents. After meeting a local trader, we were captivated by their bold colours, intricate designs, and welcoming atmosphere — and knew we wanted to bring that magic back to Devon.

From learning how to craft and rig these tents to developing our own efficient setup systems, we built Pukka Tents from the ground up. After a decade of teamwork, I now carry on my father Laurence’s vision as he enjoys a well-earned retirement.

Today, Pukka Tents offers a stunning range of Indian-inspired tents — from 3 to 10 meters — perfect for weddings, parties, and celebrations of all kinds. Each tent is carefully selected to transform any event into something truly extraordinary.
