Select Mobile Disco has the latest sound and lighting equipment and can accommodate any size event with our mobile equipment setups. Your professional DJ can play all music genres and carry large, offline music collections covering every decade through to the latest charts and floor-fillers, so there's never any reliance on venue internet access.

In over 20 years of doing events, we have never let a client down. If, for any genuine reason, your booked DJ couldn't personally attend, an equally professional and trusted DJ would step in to make sure your event runs exactly as planned. You would never be left ringing round at the last minute trying to arrange a replacement yourself.

We work closely with our clients to make sure the event goes without a hitch, and everything can be pre-planned in detail beforehand via your own online event planning portal, keeping things simple and stress-free.

This includes sharing your music requests, playlists, and event timeline, along with any special announcements or timings, all fine-tuned ahead of the day. On the day itself, alongside DJ interaction guests can also be given QR code slips to request songs live from the DJ.

We can play any genre of music from the oldies through to up-to-the-minute charts and floor-fillers, as well as specific genres like House, Dance, Indie, R&B and Hip-Hop. We understand the art of reading a room, engaging guests of all ages to keep the dance floor full throughout the event.

We carry full public liability and equipment insurance, and all our equipment is regularly PAT tested to meet industry electrical safety standards, with certificates available on request. We also carry full equipment backup, so if anything were ever to fail on the day, the music never has to stop.

I first got into DJing as a hobby, playing music for friends and family. That led on to playing local venues, then building a reputation that took me on to nightclubs up and down the UK, and I quickly realised how much I loved being the person behind the decks turning a good night into a great one. That passion for reading a room and building the right atmosphere is what turned it into a career, and it's why, over 20 years later, I'm still doing it.

What keeps me going is the moment on the dance floor when everyone's up, guests of every age dancing together, and a couple looks around at their wedding knowing it's exactly how they pictured it. Weddings especially carry a lot of weight, you only get one shot at getting someone's day right, and being trusted with that responsibility, then watching it all come together, is still what I love most about the job.

Every event is different, and every client has their own idea of what makes their day special. My job is to listen, plan properly, and make sure on the day itself all anyone has to think about is having a great time.
