Snakes alive limited provide Reptile Parties for Children and Adults, These can be in your home or at a suitable venue of your choice. We cater the party to the age of the client meaning we can work with all ages. We cover Essex, London & parts of Kent.

We provide educational talks in Schools covering a variety of topics that follow the curriculum.

snakes alive visit all types of uniform groups and after school or youth clubs around Essex. We can help children earn their animal badges, run informative workshops or provide interest to fun days. We also attend many adult special interest groups from Women's Institute to Art classes.

We supply reptiles to the Film, TV and Music industry including photoshoots and glamour modelling. We can hire out snakes, lizards, spiders, tortoises and all manner of mini-beasts to any event you require.

snakes alive was set up in 1996 and was one of first companies offering interactive children's parties with a variety of reptiles. 23 years later it has grown to provide a variety of reptile services.

The company is currently run by father and son team Peter and Daniel Hepplewhite along with Daniel fiancé Becca Commons who all strive to offer the best experience for all our clients.

Understanding the nature and features of reptiles, insects and arachnids is imperative to our line of work and sharing this information enables others to make informed decisions about the treatment of these animals in the wild and in captivity. We currently have 105 animals in our collection ranging from small beetles through to large snakes, all of which are friendly and available for events.

We hold a 5* rated Animal Activities Licence (AAL - required by law for all industries that use animals for business purposes), Public liability insurance for £10m, and all our staff are DBS checked.
