6 Degrees of Ayoka

6 Degrees of Ayoka was born from my love of all things culinary across Africa and the Caribbean. I provide exemplary service, and all dishes have my own unique reimagined twist brought to them or can be made traditionally.

I provide;

* a personal chef experience for intimate gatherings (1 - 11) * catering for a variety of private events from 12 - 100 people * weekly meal prep for individuals, couples and families

In all of the families I grew up around in the 80's, food was the one constant that brought everyone together. Whether it was a Sunday dinner over at a friend's house because I felt like Guyanese food that day, or a midweek meal when food allowed us to slow down, look across the room and see someone of importance sitting across from us.

We were all in the kitchen helping to make food; we all learned in our own unique way. Nothing much has changed except we are all widely travelled, so we bring different cuisines to the table now, and as a Brucie bonus for Mum, she happily sits on her throne being waited on.

I love to watch people experience food, to take them on culinary journeys, especially for countries they have never heard of or travelled to.

I provide catering services to a variety of clientele, from individuals and intimate private events to corporate lunch and dinner catering.
