Alero began with my love for candles and the sense of calm they bring to a space. I’ve always been drawn to scent as a way to slow down and create moments of comfort at home, but that appreciation led me to question what I was actually burning.

When I discovered that one of my favourite candle brands was made using paraffin wax — a petroleum-derived by-product — and fragranced with ingredients that can release toxins when burned, I started to look more closely at the wider industry. As I researched non-toxic alternatives, I realised they weren’t always easy to find or accessible.

Alongside my core collections, I offer handcrafted candle and wax melt favours for weddings, baby showers, corporate events, and client gifting. Each piece can be customised with scent, labelling, and packaging, making them a versatile option for bridal boutiques, concept stores, and businesses looking for distinctive, high-quality gifting with strong retail appeal.
