I specialise in corporate events, weddings, performing arts (including dance, opera and theatre), sports events, and artist portraiture. My style focuses on capturing authentic moments, atmosphere, and key highlights while remaining unobtrusive during live events.

Our Story
My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling, observing events naturally rather than staging them. This allows me to capture genuine emotions, key moments, and the overall atmosphere of weddings and live events. After moving to the UK and settling in Dorset, I now provide professional photography for weddings, performances, corporate events, and cultural projects across the South of England and nationwide.
I am particularly inspired by human expression, movement, and genuine moments, and aim to document each occasion with discretion, reliability, and a strong focus on creating a cohesive and visually compelling story.
Our Team
For larger events or multi-day bookings, I can collaborate with trusted second photographers and videographers when required, depending on the scale and needs of the event.
Experience
From 2017 to 2022, I worked as an advertising and in-house photographer for commercial and institutional clients, including a petrochemical company and the British and Indian Embassies in Moscow, where I provided professional coverage of official events, cultural programmes, and media projects. During the same period, I worked closely with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy as a photographer and camera operator, and photographed productions and artists from major ballet theatres such as the Kremlin Ballet, Stanislavsky Ballet Theatre, and the Moscow Ballet Company.
My documentary work has included several published photo series on international dancers in Moscow, combining artistic portraiture with observational storytelling. After relocating to the UK in 2022 and settling in Dorset, I have continued to offer professional wedding, event, and performance photography, bringing over a decade of international experience, reliability, and a discreet documentary style suited to both formal and fast-paced environments.

Alex was absolutely brilliant in every respect:
I can’t fault Alex in any way. Despite the short notice he arrived early to get the lie of the land and set up his equipment . His attention to detail was brilliant and he kept his focus and patience even with toddlers running around and the general chaos engendered by a family of 30! This was a special family occasion, probably never to be repeated, and my sister will return home to NZ with some precious pictures.. I can absolutely recommend Alex for any photographic requirements.

From the first video conference to the very last flash of the camera, the professionalism portrait was clearly very apparent; the attention to detail across all aspects of pre-wedding agenda could not be faulted and gave us great confidence for our wedding. The day itself could not be faulted, either. Alexander was very engaging with us, and all our guests. His polite mannerisms were welcomed by all and allowed for ease of direction, particularly when trying to heard the wedding party in to frame! As the day moved from service to reception, Alexander was seamlessly unseen in the background, all the time capturing some amazing spontaneous pictures across the entire day! Overall, we would very highly recommend Alexander - Thank you!

Before our event he was quick to respond, scheduled in a zoom call to meet us before hand and put us at ease about the whole process. Amazing experience!
Alexander was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When I first asked him to photograph my surprise proposal I didn’t realise how above and beyond he would go to ensure everything went perfectly! Throughout the whole process he was extremely helpful, even meeting me on location in advance to plan and take practice shots. With his help, the plan worked perfectly and he took truly the most stunning photos I could have ever dreamed of. My fiancée and I will cherish them forever. Was an amazing experience from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend him enough.
