About Benissimo

Based in Norfolk, we provide a unique mobile pizza catering service that is perfect for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and more. Our Story

It all began in August 2024, during a summer evening at a friend’s house. After a few beers (as all great ideas seem to start!), James and Ben, childhood friends, began discussing their shared dream of starting a business together.

James had been considering starting a food business for a while, and after chatting with Ben, the idea of creating handmade, stone-baked pizzas seemed perfect. Why pizza? Because Italian pizza is timeless, delicious, and creates unforgettable experiences for people.

Just four days later, we tracked down a beautiful Rice horsebox, and our pizza adventure officially began!

Our goal was simple: create a mobile pizzeria that could bring a slice of Italy to weddings, festivals, corporate events, and private parties across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, and London.

At Benissimo, we’re all about proper, freshly made pizzas with top-notch ingredients. From our converted horsebox, we bring the taste of Italy to East Anglia and beyond, serving up authentic Italian-style pizza from our stone baked ovens with a warm, friendly touch.

Delicious Pizzas!

We made contact with Benissimo after being let down at the last minute, and they were brilliant. Ben and his team were so friendly. Their communication was great and arrived on time. The pizzas they served were delicious and the feedback from the attendees was great - they loved having something different to a BBQ. Would thoroughly recommend Benissimo and would have them at events again.
