Before the event he sent a few emails confirming start times etc. and checking the event was still on, which meant I didn't have to do any chasing up. On the night he arrived on time and the type and volume of music he played was pitched just right for the audience. I had requested that he not spend lots of time on the microphone and he did as I asked - again the level of interaction was just as I'd wanted it to be.
