DJ Bio – DJ Baz
With over 30 years behind the decks, DJ Baz brings a lifetime of musical knowledge and passion to every set. Cutting his teeth in the sound system scene of the '80s with deep, reggae and classic soul selections, he moved seamlessly into club culture through the '90s and 2000s, delivering iconic Kisstory-style sets that blend R&B, garage, hip hop, and dance anthems.
Equally at home spinning 90s/00s Britpop and grunge classics or diving deep into the foundational sounds of the '60s and '70s, his encyclopedic knowledge of rock, pop, reggae, and soul informs every performance. While he didn’t DJ during the early decades, those sounds were the building blocks of his musical identity — and he brings them forward with authenticity and style.
Whether it’s a dancefloor set, a roots reggae session, or a retro classics night, Baz curates vibes that span generations, driven by experience, intuition, and a genuine love of the music.
