Bouquet of the Day

I have painted all my life, with a career focused on teaching art to all ages, whilst also specialising in creating my own (usually botanical themed) paintings. I have a home studio in Kent, where I usually work on large scale pieces that use uplifting colours and can really brighten the mood of the room, and the person viewing my Art! My style is quite impressionistic, in a modern sense, and with the ability to work quickly under pressure, allows me to combine my love of creating botanical paintings and working with people of all ages, to provide this service. My service is classified as 'entertainment' as all the guests can watch me paint and chat with me, as the painting evolves they are entertained to see it being created during the wedding reception. The painting is then presented to the couple at the end of that day, for them to own forever.

I have been creating Fine Art, specialising in botanical painting for over 25 years. My choice of medium is acrylic paint, which is non toxic, no odour, and quick drying. I have recently enjoyed exhibiting my work in my home town of Tunbridge Wells in Kent, and spent the last few years building up my own own business of live botanical painting at weddings, alongside teaching Art to adults, running Art workshop days, and creating commission pieces. It is always an absolute pleasure to be part of these specials days and see the happiness my work brings!

My service is used at weddings where the couple wish to own a permanent memory of their beautiful florals, as a painting they can treasure from that day onwards. As the 1st layer of the painting can involve all the guests (adding written messages, love heart stamps, a themed print, song lyrics etc) the canvas also becomes a memory from all the people that shared their special day. I liaise with the couple a month in advance to the wedding day, to ensure the size option, colour palette and any personal requests are catered for within the finished painting.
