Superb!
Simply wonderful from the start with novel champagne cocktails and canapés followed by chicken a La carte, individual potato gratin and a variety of seasonal vegetables with a crème brûlée accompanied by chocolate brownies with floral notes. Everyone enjoyed Seren’s signature on favourite dishes. Her assistant/sous chef merits a mention too as service was exemplary. I highly recommend Bubbling Stove for such events catering for 18 adults yet being understanding of 2 mothers getting a meal together as she arrived to start prepping at 5pm as we had 4 children under 3 years needing their dinner first! It certainly made our family birthday celebration a memorable one. Many thanks Seren.
Medieval- delicious authentic food, stunning
Medieval Banquet- Seren understood what we needed immediately and produced a delicious authentic 6 course menu beautifully presented. She was able to provide suitable vegetarian and gf dishes also representative of the era. She explained each dish and was knowledgeable about the era ( she is a food historian and covers other periods) The service ran smoothly and Seren was confident and in control throughout. She willingly joined in the atmosphere and all staff were in costume. I would recommend Bubbling Stove to anyone looking for caterers for a memorable historic event
The best ever experience, people, food, service.
This is the first time I have ever used a company who I cannot fault at all from my first contact with the company till the end of my event. Everyone who was in attendance is of the same mind. The people…. Attitude, service, persona, nothing was too much trouble. From advice, choices, quality and quantity. Seren and Stephen worked very hard, we just sat and ate a most delicious, well cooked dinner, providing fresh homemade extras, followed by a choice of deserts. Everything was well set up, a delight to look at even before we tasted it. The meal was served to us at a carvery set up by Seren , it was everything you would expect but so much more. Truly very professional yet personal at the same time. Definitely 5 star rating.
