I’m Caroline Nixon, a Berkshire wedding photographer, capturing natural, emotional, and timeless wedding photos for couples who want to enjoy their day without feeling like they’re on a photoshoot. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, with gentle guidance when you need it, so your photos feel real, full of life, and completely you.

I photograph weddings across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, and beyond, working with couples who value connection, emotion, and all those little in-between moments that make a wedding day unique. From the nerves before the ceremony to the laughter, hugs, and happy chaos on the dance floor, I focus on telling the story of your day exactly as it felt. There are no stiff poses, no awkward moments—just honest, beautiful wedding photography you’ll treasure forever.

Most couples tell me, “We’re not great in front of the camera.” And that’s perfectly fine—you don’t need to be. On the day, I’ll guide you gently when it’s helpful, and otherwise I blend into the background. My aim is to make everything feel effortless, relaxed, and natural so you can focus on each other and enjoy every moment of your day.

Your wedding photos are more than just pictures—they’re your memories. They capture how your day looked, felt, and even sounded. That’s why I limit the number of weddings I photograph each year. Every couple gets my full attention, creativity, and care. I also respect your privacy: full wedding galleries are never shared publicly, and only a curated selection of images appears on my website.

I have been running my business since 2018 and it is the best decision I ever made I have had the opportunity to meet many couples and help them with their photos on their wedding days as well as attaching the odd buttonhole. I am not only a photographer on the day, think of me of your little helper who likes to make sure your day runs as smooth as possible and will work with your event planner and suppliers to ensure this happens.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to feel great about their photos because after your special day is over the photos are all you're left with. You should be able to look back over your photos with a sense of pride and be taken on a journey that helps you remember your day.
