I’m Leni, an award-winning celebrant based in beautiful Derbyshire, and I’m here to help you create ceremonies that are as unforgettable as your love story. Think warmth, laughter, and a few happy tears – all wrapped up in a ceremony that’s completely you.
What I Do: From cozy elopements to big, bold weddings, I specialise in crafting ceremonies that feel like a celebration of everything that makes your relationship unique. Whether you’re all about classic romance or want to walk down the aisle dressed as your favourite movie characters, I’m here for it (and yes, I’ll dress up too!).

Our Story
I've actually been working in the wedding industry for 30 years (I know I don't look a day over 21!). My mum worked as a caterer and I started waiting on at weddings, then running the waiting staff, and organising the day, before she moved into designing wedding cakes and I was her chief sales person and setter upper! Then in 2017 I started working as a life celebrant and now here we are, still just as excited to get involved, to tell stories, and share your day with all you love!
Experience
I'm an award winner of two LUX wedding awards, Most Dedicated Celebrant 2026, and 2022. But the biggest award are my reviews, spread over the Celebrant Directory, Hitched and Google. One of them said 'Being with Leni is like being wrapped in a hug' and another said that 'Spending time with Leni is like spending time in a wine shop and not getting bad drunk' which is possibly my favourite review of all time!
Typical Clients
Couples who are looking to put a little magic in their ceremony, who don't want 20 minutes with a registrar who doesn't know you, but would rather have something heartfelt and true to them.
Please note celebrants in England are not currently licenced to perform legal ceremonies, the legalities should be completed prior to your wedding ceremony taking place. This means we can focus on the wedding not the paperwork.

Credentials
I have NOCN Level 3 in Weddings and Namings and NOCN Level 3 in Funerals. I am a member of the Celebrant Guild and the Association of Independent Celebrants.

Personalised, friendly, warm & dedicated.
We recently booked Leni for our August wedding. Leni really got to know us and created a personal ceremony which all of our guests complimented. Leni was always checking in and was so patient with me even when I am very last minute and take ages to reply! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Leni as our celebrant and both agree it felt like having a friend stood with us! Highly recommend.
