With over 20 years of hospitality experience, including owning and running a successful family restaurant in Nailsworth, I’ve brought that passion for great food, exceptional service and attention to detail to Col de Café.

Our beautifully restored vintage coffee van serves exceptional barista coffee from Fire & Flow Coffee Roastery, delicious pastries from The Artisan Baker in Stroud, and our signature freshly made Açaí Bowls using authentic Brazilian açaí berries.

Available for weddings, private parties, celebrations, markets, fetes, sporting events, corporate days and everything in between, we bring great coffee, fresh food and a little something different to your event. With a Personal Licence, we can also arrange a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) where alcohol is required.

WHY COL DE CAFÉ?

My career in hospitality has taken me from working with major corporations to smaller independent businesses, with opportunities that took me as far as America and the Greek Islands. Along the way, I developed a real passion for hospitality, great food and drink, and most importantly, creating experiences that bring people together.

In 2004, I took the leap and launched my own business, The Olive Tree Restaurant in Nailsworth. What followed was an incredible 21 years, during which I became part of a wonderful community. Customers became familiar faces, familiar faces became friends, and the restaurant became so much more than a business — it became a huge part of my life. We want the same for Col de Café

After selling The Olive Tree in 2025, I took some time to reflect on what I wanted the next chapter of my career to look like. I knew I wanted to stay in hospitality, but I wanted to create something that was personal, exciting and allowed me to combine some of the things I love most. And that's when Col de Café was born.

The name is personal too. In French, a “col” is a mountain pass — a familiar and much-loved challenge for cyclists, representing the journey, the climb and the reward at the top. As someone with a passion for cycling and a love of great coffee, Col de Café brings those two worlds together: the adventure of the road and the simple pleasure of stopping for a well-earned coffee.
