Our Story
DaFam Ent was built from a lifetime of experiences rooted in hospitality, creativity and a genuine love for bringing people together. Events have always been in our blood — our dad used to own a pub, and from young we were helping to host parties, serve customers and create the warm, lively atmosphere people loved. Those early days shaped our confidence, our people skills and our understanding of what it means to make moments memorable.
My professional journey started in the travel industry, where I specialised in group travel, meetings and events. Coordinating large itineraries, managing high-pressure schedules and delivering smooth, tailored experiences taught me the organisation, customer care and precision that now drive how we run our events. Alongside this, I’ve worked front-of-house and in stage management for large-scale concerts and shows, gaining first-hand experience of what it takes to keep an event running effortlessly behind the scenes.
DaFam Ent is powered by family talent. My partner is a chef with a passion for flavour and quality, and my daughter now brings her own flair through Caribbean-inspired street food. My sister has a natural creative eye and the ability to turn any vision into reality, no matter how big or small. Together, we offer a blend of skills that make our services unique, authentic and full of personality.
But beyond the events themselves, our purpose runs deeper. We are passionate about community — uplifting others, supporting young entrepreneurs and creating opportunities for people to showcase their talents. Through our work with local groups, youth initiatives and community organisations, we’ve built DaFam Ent around togetherness, empowerment and giving back. With a background in travel, meetings and events — plus hands-on experience running front-of-house and stage operations at major concerts — Pelisha brings organisation, creativity and flawless coordination to every event. She turns ideas into seamless experiences and ensures every detail is handled with care.
Simone – Lead Decorator & Creative Designer The visionary behind our aesthetics. Simone has an exceptional creative eye and a gift for transforming any space into something unforgettable. From elegant décor to bold themed setups, she knows how to make an event look and feel extraordinary — her creativity sets the tone for the entire experience.
Kyrann – Chef & Mixologist The flavour and vibes specialist. Kyrann brings the heat with Caribbean-inspired street food, gourmet dishes and crafted cocktails that elevate every event. Years of experience working on high-capacity concerts, festivals, and cultural shows handling FOH checks, ticketing flow, stage transitions and event safety.
Community & Youth Events
Black Pound Day Youth Pop-Up Market (Newham Council, 2022) Co-produced and led by Pelisha Deeble (DaFam Ent), this event created a platform for young Black entrepreneurs to showcase and sell products. It featured DJ entertainment, performances and an inclusive marketplace atmosphere — and it was officially featured in Newham Voices as part of Newham’s Black History Month programme . The market supported youth businesses offering jewellery, clothing, baked goods, stickers and more, empowering young people to elevate their brands and gain real retail experience.
Community Family Funday – Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Organiser of a massive family fun day attended by over 2,000 people, featuring activities, workshops, performances, food stalls, games and community engagement. The event created opportunities for charities, youth groups and small businesses to connect with local residents.
Black Lives Matter “Hear Our Children” March (2020) Led the organisation and coordination of a peaceful, child-centred social-distancing march in Leytonstone. Focused on uplifting young voices and promoting community unity during a critical moment of social change.
