Our Story
Dance Electric was created to bring a more considered, culture-led approach to private events DJing. After years of playing bars, clubs, and parties in London and abroad, it became clear that the best nights aren’t about forcing bangers; they’re about understanding people. Too many event DJs play the same tired playlist regardless of the room. We like to ask the right questions so that we can ensure your event soundtrack is tailored to your guests and the occasion.
Inspired by decades of club culture, Black music history, and modern dancefloor dynamics, Dance Electric exists to serve the room. From warm, soulful openings to moments that lift a crowd together, the goal is always connection, flow, and energy that feels natural rather than scripted.

Dance Electric is run by Rob, an experienced London-based DJ performing under both Dance Electric (private events) and RevolutionsLDN (public bookings).

Fantastic communication and set!
Rob was excellent. Great communication throughout the whole process. He got there half an hour early to set up. Hit the brief perfectly and ultimately created great energy and a full dance floor. Thank you! Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Rob was absolutely fantastic and kept in touch right up until the event, which gave us complete peace of mind. We both share a similar taste in music across all genres, which made the whole process feel relaxed, easy, and genuinely enjoyable. On the night, the music was exactly what we had hoped for — upbeat, energetic, and it created such an incredible vibe and atmosphere. The dance floor was buzzing!
