My journey as a DJ started when I was just 16 years old, working in a pub in Manchester. I was fascinated by the atmosphere that music could create — how one great song could change the mood of an entire room and get people singing, smiling and dancing.

It wasn’t long before I found myself wanting to be behind the decks. What started as a teenage interest quickly became a real passion. I began learning my craft, understanding what people wanted to hear and, most importantly, learning how to read a crowd.

From the pub, I progressed to playing in a big nightclub, where the crowds were bigger, the pressure was greater and the music was louder. It was there that I really developed my skills and discovered just how much I loved entertaining people.

Eventually, I took that experience into the world of mobile discos, bringing the music, lights and atmosphere to weddings, birthdays, parties, corporate events, festivals and celebrations.

What started at 16 in a pub in Manchester has grown into over 35 years behind the decks. For me, being a DJ has never just been about playing music — it’s about creating memories, filling dance floors and giving people a night they’ll never forget.

And after all these years, I still get the same buzz when I press play and the crowd starts dancing!

With over 35 years behind the decks, my journey as a DJ has taken me from small pub nights to packed nightclubs, radio and countless mobile events across the UK.

I started DJing at just 16 years old, working in a pub in Manchester. What began as a passion for music quickly became something much bigger. I loved watching a crowd react to the right song at exactly the right moment, and I knew I had found something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

From those early pub days, I progressed into the nightclub scene, gaining experience playing to bigger crowds and learning how to read a dance floor. Over the years I’ve also been involved with radio, mobile discos, weddings, birthdays, corporate events, festivals and celebrations.

My music knowledge covers virtually every genre, from the classics of the 70s, 80s and 90s through to today’s biggest party and dance tracks. I believe a great DJ isn’t just someone who plays music — it’s someone who understands the crowd and creates an atmosphere people remember.

After more than three decades, the equipment may have changed, but one thing hasn’t: my love of music and the buzz of a packed dance floor.
