I specialise in candid, relaxed, storytelling photography, capturing moments that might otherwise go unseen or be forgotten and creating forever memories of your special day. I want you to look back on your wedding photos for years to come and feel like you've been transported back to all the emotions and feelings of your day, like a time capsule of memories. No need to worry that you don't like having your photo taken, I focus on 99% unposed photos, allowing you to relax and feel at ease, be in the moment and not feel uncomfortable. I blend into the background of your day, and am on hand to help in any way I can, putting everyone at ease and helping ensure you have the perfect day. I've been taking photos since I was a little girl. they've always been important to me as the best way to capture forever memories; I've always been very sentimental. I used to take photos at family events and just walk around snapping people having fun. My journey to being a professional photographer wasn't that straight-forward though.

As a teenager, my parents encouraged me to pursue more academic routes and eventually, I ended up working in media, firstly in radio and then tv, where I spent many years working my way up to a senior level. Corporate TV, as brilliant as it was though, took its toll and I realised there was more to life than the workaholic life I'd created for myself; my health was being affected and no job is worth that. Resigning from my job, with no job to go to, I started thinking outside the box, while everyone around me told me to pursue my photography dream, so I decided to go for it and see what happened.

I never really believed I could make a living from photography, but it quickly grew into a business I'm so proud of, and when I photographed my first wedding as a second shooter for a friend over 5 years ago, I realised I'd found what I truly wanted to do, and haven't looked back since. I can't imagine doing anything else now!

Photographing weddings is such a huge honour, receiving gorgeous feedback from my couples never fails to make me emotional, and I consider it a total privilege that I'm fortunate enough to create forever memories for my couples and their families.

My typical clients are people who value photography, understand that photos are their forever memories, but don't want to spend too long doing staged photos and really aren't massive fans of posing for photos, or worry they will look awkward in photos. This is all perfect for my style as I specialise in relaxed, candid, natural photos of your special day, capturing all the special moments and all the emotions.
