About Emma Koroma Photography
Inspired by soft light, real emotion, and the little moments you don’t even realise you’re sharing, I’m all about creating photos that feel gentle, honest, and the you that you will recognise. The kind you’ll look back on and feel full of nostalgia.
I bring a calm, friendly presence to your day, weaving between the quiet in-betweens and the big, joy-filled moments, always with an artist’s eye (and often a film camera in hand).

Our Story
Although I’m new to photographing weddings, I bring years of intuitive, confident experience behind the camera — quietly observing, finding the magic in light, emotion, and the fleeting moments that reveal the heart of a day. I’m especially drawn to the slower, more intentional process of working with my Hasselblad medium-format camera. Film allows me to breathe, to listen, and to create images rooted in nature, luminosity, and the kind of delicate details that are often felt before they’re seen.
Beyond photography, I’m a toddler mum, a musician, a wife, and working part-time with an anti–sex trafficking charity. I’m happiest wandering through a forest in sunshine or rain, and I have a soft spot for giving old clothes new life (Vinted is my guilty pleasure) and sewing new ones from scratch.
Photography, for me, is the art of translating feeling into something tangible — images that are beautiful, poetic, light-filled, and honest. My approach is rooted in storytelling: letting your connection, your personalities, and the quiet in-between moments fill the frame.
If you’re dreaming of wedding photographs that feel evocative, intentional, and authentically you — I’d be honoured to document your story.

Our Team
Just me, hi!
Experience
I joined wedding photography in June 2025, so I am new on the scene! Having loved and studied photography for 15 years, I am confident in my skills, and for 2026 to reflect my 'newness', my rates are significantly reduced whilst I build up my experience.
So yes, I’m new to photographing weddings, but here are some things I value: - integrity and honesty - authenticity and kindness - celebrating the big and the small, the seen and the unseen And here’s what I am experienced in - analogue and digital photography - giving 110% to the work in front of me - thinking creatively always - listening - what is important to you, is important to me

Typical Clients
Planning a wedding focused on celebrating love, connection and all the lovely real stuff? YES. Love it.
At the end of the day, what matters to you matters to me, and I’ll photograph it all. But the moments I REALLY like to photograph are the expressions of love, the humanity, the ways you interact, connect, celebrate with each other and the people you love in all the different glorious ways.
I’m here for your stories - the ones about how you met, the moments, the experiences you’ve shared and all the heart that is being poured into planning your day, here to observe and document as you unfold the story of your day, and begin the next chapter of your lives.
