The Magic Behind the Mirror: Why We Started Finesse Photos

Some people fall in love with business through spreadsheets and strategy. For us, it started with something much simpler: the raw, unfiltered joy of a wedding day, and the profound love for the photographs that make those memories immortal.

Weddings have always been special. There is a distinct, electric energy in the air when family and friends gather to celebrate two people. We wanted to create a space where the guard comes down completely.

That is why the Magic Mirror isn't just a piece of equipment to us—it is an experience. There is an undeniable magic when a guest walks up to what looks like a classic, elegant mirror, only for it to light up, speak to them, and transform into an interactive portal of fun. Watching guests grab a wild prop, strike a ridiculous pose with people they’ve just met, and erupt into shared laughter is unbeatable.

Nine years. Over a hundred celebrations managed. Countless red carpets rolled out, props handed out, and mirrors lit up across Staffordshire, Cheshire, and beyond.

When you spend nearly a decade running photo booths, you stop seeing events as just dates on a calendar. You start seeing them as milestones in a community's life.

Over the last nine years, Finesse Photos has grown alongside the weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate galas we’ve had the privilege of attending.

Weddings, schools, baby showers, birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events, product releases, christenings, proms,
