Flossie's is a small business aiming to spread the love of coffee at local markets, festivals, community events, and pop-up locations across the UK. The beverage menu will include a variety of espresso-based drinks, herbal and classic teas, catering to a wide audience.
In addition to drinks, customers can enjoy comforting baked goods and a selection of seasonal merchandise such as motivational prints, handmade keychains, badges, and printed tote bags. Flossie's Bar & Brew is available to hire for private events. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages upon request.

Our Story
Flossie’s was created from a love of hospitality, creativity, and the belief that small moments like meeting a friend for coffee can have a big impact on mental well-being.
After many years working in customer-facing and leadership roles within hospitality and the cruise industry, I wanted to create something personal, mobile, and community-focused.
Flossie’s brings together quality coffee, comforting bakes, and uplifting messages to encourage people to get out, meet others, and take time for themselves. The business is inspired by the idea that coffee can be a connector, and that positivity, kindness, and conversation belong in everyday spaces.
Our Team
Flossie’s is a proudly owner-operated business run by me, Laura. I manage all aspects of the business, from coffee service and customer experience to event coordination, social media, and merchandise design.
This hands-on approach ensures consistency, care, and a personal touch at every event.
As the business grows, there are plans to bring in additional team members during larger or busier events.
Experience
I bring over 12 years of experience working in hospitality and customer-facing roles, where creating welcoming, enjoyable experiences has always been at the heart of what I do.
I’ve managed restaurants, worked in fast-paced service environments, and spent time delivering high-quality guest experiences on cruise ships around the world.
These roles taught me the importance of great service, attention to detail, and making people feel genuinely looked after... all things I bring to Flossie’s.
Alongside this, I’ve previously run a small Etsy business selling handmade, feel-good merchandise, which now forms part of Flossie’s offering. While Flossie’s is a newer coffee venture, it’s built on years of experience in hospitality, creativity, and customer care. Every event is approached with the same aim: serving great coffee, creating a relaxed atmosphere, and giving people a reason to pause, connect, and enjoy the moment.

Credentials
Flossie’s is built on strong hospitality experience and a commitment to high standards. I hold a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate and have full business insurance in place. The business is currently awaiting its local authority food hygiene inspection, which is scheduled to take place shortly ahead of trading. Meanwhile, all operational required paperwork is in place already.
I also pride myself on supporting local suppliers and communities, sourcing ingredients and working with event organisers wherever possible to create a positive local impact. Cleanliness, food safety, and professionalism are central to how Flossie’s operates, ensuring both clients and customers can feel confident in the service provided.
While Flossie’s is a newly launched business, it is run with care, responsibility, and attention to detail, with plans to continue building credentials and industry connections as the business grows.
