From the Woods offers a joyful dining experience with a focus on care and attention. From intricate tasting menus to casual sharing feasts, for small gatherings and large events. Based in Salisbury, serving the South.
We are Rosie and Hamish Wood and this is our dining company. We met at culinary school in Devon from there our love for food moved us to a 1 Michelin starred restaurant in Birmingham then to L'Enclume, a 3 Michelin Starred restaurant, in the Lake District where we refined our skills for 3 years, learning and improving.
Our diverse seasonal menus offer something for every occasion. Elegant fine dining to relaxed, flavoursome sharing plates. Whether you're looking for a refined, multi-course experience or a laid-back meal to enjoy with friends, our menus are designed to cater to every taste and mood.
We prioritise seasonal British produce as it ensures the freshest ingredients while supporting local farmers and reducing our environmental footprint. We offer dishes that are not only sustainable but also celebrate the best of British produce throughout the year. We are starting our own micro farm this year, preparing the ground with organic mushroom compost and raising our own hens for eggs. Our aim is to grow fruits and vegetables to supply all our clients.

Experience
We have both completed NVQ Diplomas in Culinary Arts as well as working in some of the most prestigious restaurants in the country, 3 Michelin Starred L'Enclume. Rosie came second in the Young National Chef of the Year competition in 2024 and in the finals again in 2025.
