About Horsebox Ice Cream Company

Our traditional Rice Horseboxes are designed to offer a unique, superior and alternative choice to a standard ice cream van. To choose your ice cream you walk up the ramp to the Horsebox and pick the flavour, then you pick from a beautiful selection of superior sauces and fabulous toppings and finished offer with a Cadburys Flake.

All of our ice cream and sorbets are made by the amazing Judes.

We also offer some amazing Gluten Free and Vegan ice creams and sorbets.

We have worked exceptionally hard to offer a service and product that we are very proud of and very much enjoy attending weddings and events and bringing a big smile to guests faces!

Our Story

Horsebox Ice Cream Company was founded over 8 years ago with a simple idea: that ice cream at events should be beautiful, premium, and unforgettable. We found Judes (a Hampshire farm ice cream brand with over 70 Great Taste Awards and B Corp certification) and converted our first vintage horsebox to show it off properly.

Horsebox Ice Cream Company is run by Debbie Brown, who leads our team to events across the UK. We arrive with our vintage horseboxes ready to serve and create a real moment for guests.

Experience

We have been catering events for over 8 years, building a client list that includes Disney, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon, Warner Bros, and Royal Family events. We operate two vintage horseboxes (Oxford Blue and Racing Green) alongside two ice cream carts for indoor or space-limited venues, giving us flexibility for events of any size.

We work with wedding couples, corporate event teams, festival organisers, and private hosts right across the UK. Our client list spans household names including Disney, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon, Coca Cola, Warner Bros, Aston Martin, Barbour, and Dr Martens, as well as the teams behind exclusive wedding venues and private estate events.

We had the Horsebox Ice Cream Company to provide ice cream when guests arrived at our reception venue at our wedding and they were such a hit! Thank you to Debbie and the team for perfect service. Reason you should pick Horsebox Ice Cream Company: - amazing communication - So many choices of ice cream. We were amazed at the range of choices we could pick from and have at the wedding - Options for cones and tubs - Great options for dietary requirements which our guests were so appreciative of - We had welcome drinks too but guests who didn’t want an alcoholic drink found this an amazing alternative. Those that had both said a glass of Prosecco in one hand and an ice cream in the other was amazing. - The Horsebox is BEAUTIFUL

Fabulous all round!

This company was a fabulous addition to our on-site Pride event. The horsebox looks great, the ice cream is fantastic, AND the team were fabulous! Lots of comments about how nice the ice cream was and that the cones were not 'the soggy type' ha-ha! Thanks so much team!

Amazing ice cream

The ice cream was incredible at my wedding, so many guests commented on how incredibly tasty it was and what a nice touch it was to our evening food. The range of flavours is amazing, not your average ice cream offering at all
