Traditional Ice Cream Tricycles provide award-winning Jersey dairy ice creams and sorbets in Hampshire, from their unique, vintage Pashley tricycle. As well as traditional ice cream, they also serve POPS - alcoholic ice lollies featuring adult favourites such as Prosecco and Champagne. The tricycle can come in red or blue and the ice creams come in a dizzying array of flavours - even including diabetic suitable varieties!

Always ask what kind of ice creams they will be providing, I only provide award winning, locally made Jersey dairy ice creams and sorbets - this is obviously a very different product from Mr Whippy's. You should also ask how long the service will be for - I usually attend a booking for a period of two hours, dependent on the type of event. Please also ask for any reviews or recommendations as you can tell a huge amount from testimonials.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started Traditional Ice Cream after leaving my financial advising job which was just not for me! I have thoroughly enjoyed building up this business over the past six years and have also started a new venture - Crêpe Britain to ideally make my work a little less seasonal. I pride myself on fantastic customer service and quality produce.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have attended lots of events which were booked through Add to Event so it makes it hard to choose just one. I love attending weddings as it is so special to be part of people's big day. The ice cream is always enthusiastically enjoyed by guests, usually whilst the newly married couple are having photos taken or as an evening dessert. I always ensure that I know the VIPs choice in ice cream so they don't miss out!
