Hi and welcome to IB The Chippy, I have been in the catering trade for over 25 years working in hotels, restaurants, pubs.
The year of 2014 I build my fish and chip van which I try my best in serving local and fresh produce.
In 2018 I opened up a fish and chip shop in North Elmham where I welcome you to come have a taste test and meet me, I can also answer any questions you may have.
In 2019 I bought a brand new high specification chip van,
I have weekly destinations in local villages and do many private events from weddings, parties corporate work and fetes. I have put my heart and solo in to the business and enjoy all of what I do, the most important thing to me is to serve every portion of fish and chips with a smile.

On average I do 40/50 wedding a year and I’m a recommend catering supplier for many venues around Norfolk. (Red barn, kings lynn.
Sussex barns, burnham market. The reading room. Alby. Haubois Hall, Norfolk. The dairy barns, Norfolk.) plus many more.

Super food and great service
We hired the chippy for our daughters wedding for the evening guests. The food was first rate all the guests commented. Ian and his team were prompt and ready to go at the right time . I would definitely use him again and recommend his services

Perfect wedding meal
Ian provided our wedding breakfast for 115 guests and did a fantastic job from start to finish. Everything was cooked fresh and delicious and we had loads of compliments from guests.
Big hit with everyone
We had The Chippy for our 50th wedding anniversary party, and what a great hit it was with everyone! Ian was very helpful in supplying what we had requested. The food was lovely and huge portions. There were several people who were gluten intolerant which he was able to cater for, they all said how nice the food was. We can highly recommended The Chippy for any event.
Amazing fish and chips
Ian is amazing. Highly recommended. We had him for around 80 guest wedding and he served all guest within 30min. His food is 5 stars Curry sauce is the best (bride approved)
