Georgian food is a generous meal and an ancient communal ritual of sharing and appreciating local values. It takes an honourable place in the World's Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Georgian Hospitality is often compared to a Lucullan feast since you can see everything that Georgian cuisine offers. Specifically, there is a variety of steaming hot khachapuri, chicken in blackberry sauce, walnut dip bazhe, lobiani, kebab.
You will also find numerous desserts at a Georgian supra: honey cake, napoleon cake, gosinaki, dried fruits, various types of cookies, and sweet drinks.
