About Katakata
Based in Brixton, Katakata is a Deaf-led and disabled-led social enterprise delivering high-quality catering for workplaces and organisations. Since 2015, we have operated with a mission to support diverse communities through food, arts, and employability programs.
Every booking provides paid employment and professional training for Deaf and disabled individuals, while supporting local food bank services and mental wellbeing initiatives. Our menus draw inspiration from traditional West African and Côte d'Ivorian cuisine, emphasising healthy, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Signature mains include Kedjenou Chicken, Suya-spiced Beef or Lamb, Comfort Yam Stew, and Peanut Vegetable Stew. These are paired with authentic bases like Attiéké Grain or Party Jollof Rice, alongside Alloco Plantain and fresh salads.
Every package can include Ginger Breeze, a premium lemon and ginger drink handcrafted by our Deaf artisans. Serving "Food with Purpose," we offer inclusive menus featuring a wide range of Vegan (VE), Vegetarian (V), and gluten-free options with clear allergen labelling.
Our flexible packages are perfect for Lunch & Learns, training days, and events. celebrations, and small and large-scale conferences. We also cater for impact-driven organisations, including offices, charities, the NHS, and universities.
