Kushi Yakitori

We’re Kushi Yakitori, a premium street food concept specialising in charcoal-grilled chicken thigh skewers, cooked fresh over live fire and finished with simple Japanese flavours. Everything we serve is focused, high-quality and made to order - bringing both great food and a bit of theatre to your event. We’re a great fit for private events because our setup is compact, flexible and designed for smooth, efficient service without compromising on quality. Guests get something a little different from the usual catering options - freshly grilled skewers, bold flavour, and an interactive cooking experience that feels both relaxed and memorable.

I set up Kushi Yakitori in 2020, right at the beginning of the global Covid-19 pandemic. It was born out of a need to find suitable barbecue options for great quality Japanese street food in London. Whilst I've been driving it forward on my own, I couldn't have begun this journey without the help of my Aunt and Cousins in Enfield, who came to my aid when I held the first few local community events serving yakitori to the public. ​I'd also like to give a dedication to YakitoriGuy for being a source of counsel and wisdom during my journey, as it's someone I discovered right after I began our journey.
