For me, capturing all of that is more than a job. It is one of the most rewarding things a person can do. With over a decade of experience and 300 weddings photographed across the UK, Jamie brings a warm, natural and documentary approach that lets your day unfold exactly as it should... beautifully and authentically.

My journey into photography began at college, where I studied film photography and fell in love with the art of capturing the world through a lens. That passion for images, people and storytelling has never left me.

My move into wedding photography happened naturally, the way the best things often do. Shooting a wedding for someone close to me showed me just how powerful it felt to document one of the most important days in a person's life. From that moment, I was hooked. Over a decade later, that feeling has never faded.

What keeps me inspired every single day is people. The connection between two people getting married, the pride on a parent's face, the joy of old friends reuniting on the dance floor. Every wedding brings a completely unique cast of human moments, and it is my job to be there for all of them with my camera ready. For me, photography has always been about people first and pictures second, and I think that shows in every gallery I deliver.

With over a decade of experience photographing weddings across Essex and the wider UK, I have had the privilege of documenting hundreds of couples on the best day of their lives. What started as a passion rooted in film photography and a love of art has grown into an award winning career I am incredibly proud of.

Along the way I have been recognised with six Wedisson Awards, a Bridebook Silver Award, and was named a finalist for Essex Wedding Photographer of the Year at the Essex Wedding Awards. I am also a recommended photographer at some of Essex's most sought after venues, including Downham Hall, Houchins, Langtons House and Stockbrook Manor.

But beyond the accolades, what I am most proud of is the trust couples place in me to capture their day honestly and beautifully. Every award is a reflection of the couples who welcomed me into their celebrations and the genuine moments we captured together.

My Couples

My couples are warm, down-to-earth people who want their wedding day captured honestly and beautifully. Most of them will openly admit they are not comfortable in front of a camera, and that is exactly why they found me. They care less about stiff, posed shots and more about real moments, genuine laughter and images that actually feel like them. They want a photographer who blends into the background, keeps things relaxed and lets the day flow naturally... while still delivering a gallery they will be proud to show for the rest of their lives.

Many are getting married at stunning Essex venues, though I travel across the UK for the right couple. Whether it is an intimate gathering of close family or a big celebration with hundreds of guests, what they all have in common is this: they want their love story told with care, creativity and heart, by someone who genuinely gets them.

Training with them has had a profound influence on the way I see, think and shoot, and their philosophy is at the heart of everything I do on a wedding day.
