Our Story
I do what I do because I love creating moments people can actually feel. Real reactions. Real connection. Real wonder. Magic has this incredible ability to break down barriers, spark conversation and lift an entire room, and that feeling never gets old for me.
I started when I was six years old. My dad showed me a simple coin trick and it absolutely blew my mind. From that moment I was hooked. I spent years learning, practising, performing for anyone who would watch and eventually found myself doing it professionally. seventeen years later, I’m still obsessed with it.
What inspires me now isn’t just the tricks, it is the reactions. The way someone goes from polite smile to full disbelief. The way a quiet table suddenly comes alive. The way strangers start chatting like old friends. Those moments are why I do this. It is the human side of magic that keeps me pushing to be better every year.
Over the years I’ve performed at hundreds of luxury private events and high end corporate parties for clients like British Airways, Sony PlayStation and Google, and I’m a recommended supplier for some of the most iconic venues in London including the Natural History Museum and the Tower of London. I’ve built my career around not just doing magic but elevating events, creating atmosphere and giving people something to talk about long after the night is over.
At its core, my job is simple. I make people feel something. And when you get that right, the whole event changes. That is why I do what I do.

Our Team

I’m David, better known as Magicman London. I run a premium close up magic experience that’s all about connection, energy and real reactions. I’ve been performing for more than sixteen years and I built this business on one simple idea: when people feel amazed together, the whole room changes.
Behind the scenes it’s mostly me. I handle the performances, the bookings, the creative ideas and the late night planning sessions fuelled by coffee. I work with a small circle of trusted partners in the events world who help with photography, videography and logistics when needed. They’re people who understand the standard I work to and share the same focus on detail, quality and guest experience.

Experience
I’ve been performing professionally for more than sixteen years and in that time I’ve been lucky enough to take magic into some incredible rooms. I started with small gigs, learning how to read people, build connection and create those moments that stop a room in its tracks. From there things grew quickly. Bigger events, bigger brands and opportunities that pushed me to raise my game every year.
Some key milestones for me include performing for companies like British Airways, Sony PlayStation and Google becoming a recommended supplier for venues such as the Natural History Museum and the Tower of London, and being booked for large scale corporate events with guest lists in the hundreds. I’ve also been invited to perform at celebrity events, product launches, hospitality suites and high profile private gatherings where every detail has to be flawless.
My achievements are measured in reactions. The wide eyes, the laughter, the moments people talk about long after the event is over. But I’m proud of the reputation I’ve built in the industry too. Consistent five star reviews, repeat bookings from agencies and event planners, and being trusted to deliver a premium experience every single time.
It has taken years of practice, creativity and constant refinement to get here, but I still feel the same excitement I had when I first picked up a deck of cards. Every event is a chance to create something unforgettable.
Typical Clients
My typical client is someone who genuinely cares about the guest experience. They’re usually planning high end corporate events or luxury private parties, and they want the atmosphere to feel warm, connected and memorable instead of predictable. I work with brands like British Airways, Sony PlayStation and Google, and perform at venues like the Natural History Museum, The Shard and The Gherkin, so most of my clients expect a polished, elevated experience.
They book me for awards nights, brand launches, Christmas parties, gala dinners and private celebrations where they want their guests to feel looked after and properly entertained. They value quality, creativity and that effortless mix of fun and luxury that keeps the whole room buzzing.
They love seeing their guests light up, and because they’re busy and detail focused, they appreciate that I turn up early, work smoothly with the event team and make their life easier while giving everyone something to talk about long after the night is over.
They want reliability, polish and a touch of magic that elevates the whole event… and that’s exactly what I bring.
Credentials
Alongside years of experience, I’m also a member of Equity, the UK’s professional association for performers. It’s an important part of how I work because it reflects a commitment to high standards, professionalism and safe, ethical practice at every event. On top of that, I’m fully insured for every event I take on, so clients have complete peace of mind from start to finish.
